If things seem too normal...
Jan. 26th, 2005 11:37 amIf you are feeling in the need for something rather weird and trippy, check out the Zoomquilt. It's called "a collaborative art project," which apparently means that a group of artisitic people pooled their oddest drug experiences. It may take a little time to load, but all you have to do once it does is hold the mouse button down, then either move the mouse up (to zoom in) or down (to zoom out). Zooming out is definitely the most disorienting, because you can't see where you are "going" next.
Since I'm gone tomorrow for a training, I am spending today trying catch up on my paperwork... which necessitated a change of pace to keep me awake. For some reason I've been rather logy this week. This doesn't help me to stay enthusiastic about my job, which I do often enjoy (except for the paperwork). I will catch myself daydreaming about going back to school, or teaching history, or some similar ideas that would not actually be easier, only seem more appealling from where I am now. But then, I won't always be doing this, either, so it's also good to keep tabs on what I might be interested in when the time comes to move on.
But in the meantime, let's get this crap filed away.
