Once I caught a twenty dollar bill
gusting down Broadway under
parked cars, around 118th Street
as I recall.

Today I found one in the mud of a
forest trail, damp from the rain
and snow melt and speckled with
tiny, perfect hemlock needles.

Thanks. And adding a title to this one also made me realize that I need to rework it -- it has the potential to imply that the real luck is being in the place I am now, opposed to where I was then. Needs to be done with a light touch, though.
